unwelcoming atmosphere

a lovely location, but that’s where the charm ends. the shower head was broken, making my luxurious experience feel a bit. glitzy, right? Plus, you’d think a place like this would offer some sort of welcome gift or complimentary bottle of water at least, but nope, nothing.

great central spot for city walks and parks

The hotel is perfectly situated, just a short walk from the beautiful Maison de Jeanne d'Arc and only a bit farther to the stunning Cathedrale Ste-Croix, making it easy to enjoy Orleans' rich history in just a weekend stroll. the staff were super friendly and check-in was a breeze, so I felt welcomed right away.

Rooms were too noisy, with sounds from neighboring rooms creeping in and disrupting sleep. The lack of a fridge was a hassle for keeping drinks cool, and the limited dinner menu left much to be desired, with food quality not matching expectations. It felt like a budget setup where issues with cleanliness in the bathrooms could be a real turn-off for some, and the breakfast options were pretty unimpressive, lacking variety and flavor that could satisfy a traveler’s morning hunger.

24/7 reception

the b & b has a great location just off the motorway, making it perfect for a long drive across france. there's plenty of grass out back for my dog to play, which was a nice touch. the 24/7 reception was super convenient, allowing for stress-free check-in at any time.

this was my second stay in orleans, and the b & b exceeded my expectations. the ease of location and pleasant staff made everything so smooth. the breakfast was basic but sufficient for a quick start before a day of exploring.

the beds were uncomfortable and lumpy.

the meal was awful, with burnt chicken and undercooked pizza (yikes! ). the hotel staff were friendly and the rooms clean. The breakfast had fresh bread. quick check-in was a plus too.
